Swedish authorities are attempting to interfere in the presidential elections in Turkey. This was stated by the head of the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs Suleyman Soylu.
According to him, the association called "Oy ve Ötesi" cannot be observed at the ballot boxes. Earlier, Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billström expressed confidence that the country would become a member of NATO, regardless of the outcome of the elections. Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that there is no progress in the process of Sweden's accession to the North Atlantic Alliance.
