According to him, the association called "Oy ve Ötesi" cannot be observed at the ballot boxes.

"I say this very openly and clearly. They come there, "terrorize" the place and try to exert pressure. This should not be allowed," the Aydınlık newspaper quoted Soylu as saying.

The minister stressed that the members of this association put pressure on voters.

"The Swedish state finances this association, Oy ve Ötesi. It sends money, but why? In order to interfere in the elections in Turkey and sow confusion. It's so clear and obvious," Soylu concluded.

Earlier, Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billström expressed confidence that the country would become a member of NATO, regardless of the outcome of the elections in Turkey.

In turn, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that there is no progress in the process of Sweden's accession to the North Atlantic Alliance.
