The head of the Crimean parliament called the transfer of the peninsula to the Ukrainian SSR a criminal act. According to Vladimir Konstantinov, this decision had no practicality.

“Sometimes it seems that this act, in my opinion, is acriminal act, but the final word in its assessment should be with the court, it was committed under the influence of a momentary impulse: I wanted it, once - and it’s done,” he said. Earlier, he called a record number of violations during the transfer.
