Hala Hamada was evacuated from under the rubble of her home in Khan Yunis after 40 hours of siege by occupation tanks. Hala, 14 years old, had appealed in an audio recording to quickly be rescued after she was injured in the Israeli bombing, which resulted in the death of her parents and three brothers.
