International organizations affiliated with the United Nations and the International Red Cross were able to evacuate the girl, Hala Hamada, from under the rubble of her house, which was bombed by the Israeli occupation forces at dawn on Monday in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, after being besieged by Israeli tanks for more than 40 hours.

The girl's uncle said in contact with Al Jazeera that Hala was transferred to the American Hospital in Khan Yunis to receive treatment.

Hala, 14 years old, had appealed in an audio recording to quickly be rescued from under the rubble after she was injured in the Israeli bombing, which resulted in the death of her parents and three brothers.

Last February, the issue of the loss of contact with the Palestinian girl Hind Rajab, who was stuck in a vehicle besieged by the occupation forces and surrounded by the bodies of her martyred relatives, shook the conscience of the world, especially after losing contact with the ambulance crew that went to her rescue.

The body of the Palestinian girl Hind Rajab (6 years old) and five members of her family were found 12 days after losing contact with her on February 10, after Israeli occupation tanks surrounded her inside a vehicle and killed members of her relatives near a gas station in Gaza.

Her family members were killed immediately, while she and her cousin, Layan (14 years old), remained alive for some time as the occupation prevented ambulance crews from arriving and surrounded the place with tanks at the time.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the besieged Gaza Strip, which has left tens of thousands of civilians martyred and wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive infrastructure destruction.
