The German frigate Hesse mistakenly attacked an Allied drone in the Red Sea. This was preceded by the frigate’s successful destruction of two drones of the Houthi movement Ansar Allah ruling in northern Yemen.
The Bundeswehr's plans to send it to the region were reported at the beginning of the month. The start of the mission of the Hesse in theRed Sea became known on February 25, while the German military department's plans for it to be sent there were reported earlier this month.
