The Generalitat relieves the director of the Mas d'Enric prison after the murder of a cook at the hands of a prisoner. A crime that provoked a real wave of protests by Catalan prison officials.
The decision has been "meditated" and agreed upon with the management of the Secretariat of Criminal Measures, Reintegration and Attention to Victims, headed by Amand Calderó. Prison officials point mainly towards Gemma Ubasart and Calderó herself, the two resignations that they demand from the Government.
