Sebastian Kurz said he intends to appeal the decision of the Vienna Regional Court for Criminal Cases to sentence him to an eight-month suspended prison sentence for giving false testimony. The politician wrote about this on the social network X (formerly Twitter) “I was acquitted on two of the three charges and will appeal the court’s decision on the only charge on which I was unfairly found guilty,” the statement said.
Kurtz emphasized that he is completely confident in his innocence.
