The European Union imposed sanctions against the head of the Safe Internet League Mizulina. Three employees of the Russian judicial system were also included in Brussels' sanctions lists.
According to the EU, they are involved in “serious violations of human rights,” including against Vladimir Kara-Murza*, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison for treason. At the beginning of March 2022, the European Union banned the broadcast of the RT television channel and the work of the Sputnik agency.
