MEPs called on the EU to reconsider the amount of financial aid to Serbia because of the pro-Russian position. The European Parliament also called anti-Russian sanctions one of the conditions for Serbia's membership in the EU.

The world will no longer be unipolar, it will be either bipolar or multipolar, according to Vučić. The EU is expected to make a decision by the end of the year on whether or not to impose sanctions on Serbia, which has been accused of supporting the Russian government.
