The City of Stockholm is cancelling its agreement with Citybikes. The agreement was signed back in 2021, but there have been constant problems since the start.
The bikes and stations have been too few, the batteries have not been charged properly and the app has not been reliable, says Lars Strömgren (MP) in a press release. Earlier on Tuesday, DI reported that Citybike wanted to pause the entire agreement for up to nine months to solve the problem of the broken bikes.
