The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, visited the Al Jazeera Network’s pavilion at the Web Summit. The Emir was briefed on the details of Al Jazeera Media Network's participation in the conference and the idea of its pavilion.
The Prince also visited the pavilions of a number of major participating international companies specialized in the technology sector. It is noteworthy that the state of Qatar is hosting the first edition of the World Web Summit in the Middle East and Africa.
