The Central Electoral Board (JEC) has approved an instruction that requires all voters who vote by mail to identify themselves with the DNI or with a similar document. The arbitration body has also decided that having contracted holidays before May 29 will help citizens get rid of a polling station.

The JEC has agreed, according to a note released by the arbitration body, that if the election day coincides with "a displacement or stay of a holiday nature, which has been contracted before the date of the call for the elections"
