The EC announced the allocation of €83 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine and Moldova. The funds allocated to Kyiv should be used to provide urgent assistance, including access to basic needs.

The money sent to Moldova will go to targeted assistance to the most vulnerable segments of the population and will include humanitarian cash assistance for basic needs, protection and health care. Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called on the EU to allocate more money to help Ukraine. The European Commission announced the allocate of €75 million to Ukraine.
