Syrian artist Thanaa Debsi died, at the age of 83, after suffering from illness. She was born on June 22, 1941, in the city of Aleppo - northern Syria.

She began her acting journey in the mid-fifties of the last century, when she left high school. She stopped working in theater in 1978, and for more than 22 years, returning in 2000 with the play “Takreef.” She suffered from a health problem in the retina, which was talked about by her husband, the artist Salim Sabry.
