Alexander Zhuravlev, who planned a terrorist attack in Stavropol Territory, was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison. He did not have time to carry out the terrorist attack because he was detained by Russian FSB officers.

The verdict has not yet entered into legal force. Earlier in Crimea, two Ukrainian agents were detained who were preparing terrorist attacks on the peninsula. The court sentenced a St. Petersburg resident to imprisonment for a term of 4 years and 6 months in a maximum security correctional colony with the first 2 years to be served.
