[HIGHLIGHTS] The court commuted the sentence of the wife of ex-judge of the Supreme Court of Chechnya Musaeva to 4.9 years in prison

The court commuted the sentence of the wife of the former judge of the Supreme Court of Chechnya. Zarema Musaeva was convicted of using violence against a police officer and for fraud.

She was sentenced to 5.5 years in prison; later the court reduced the sentence by six months. In December, the Shali Court of the Chechen Republic denied MusAeva parole. The corresponding sentence was pronounced by the Akhmatovsky District Court of Grozny.
