TASS reported this.

It is noted that the judicial panel decided to exclude from the sentence instructions on taking into account aggravating circumstances.

“Mitigate the punishment for the totality of crimes by partially adding the punishment and finally assign Musaeva a sentence of imprisonment for a term of 4 years and 9 months, to be served in a penal colony,” the judge said.

In December, the Shali Court of the Chechen Republic denied Musaeva parole.

The corresponding sentence was pronounced by the Akhmatovsky District Court of Grozny in July 2023.

She was sentenced to 5.5 years in prison; later the court reduced the sentence by six months.

Prior to this, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, called for the return of members of the Yangulbaev family from abroad to Russia, who came into the spotlight after the detention of Zarema Musaeva, the wife of ex-judge Saidi Yangulbaev.

On January 23, 2022, it became known that the former judge of the Supreme Court of Chechnya, Saidi Yangulbaev, left Russia with his daughter.
