The Community of Madrid will finance extracurricular activities and will open public schools on non-school days starting next year. The Governing Council approved, at its meeting this Wednesday, these new measures that may benefit more than 310,000 students.

The initiative of the regional government is intended for all public centers of Early Childhood and Primary Education (CEIP), Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Schools (CEIPSO) and Grouped Rural Schools (CRA) Families will only have to complete a simple procedure at their school or through their town hall to register for the activity that interests them.
