The Civil Guard rescues 111 animals in Malaga in an operation against abuse and abandonment. In total, researchers have carried out 236 actions related to the inspection of private kennels, livestock farms, zoos and animal shelters.
The Civil Guard has found animals sick with leishmaniasis, scabies or other pathologies that had not received veterinary care. Also dogs whose ears or tails had been amputated without justification, horses abandoned without food or water in the middle of a heat wave.
