The Children's Ombudsman helped return 32 children from Syria to Russia. The children will undergo a medical examination at a federal clinic and social rehabilitation in one of the Moscow centers.

In February it was reported that eleven children from the Zaporozhye region, Mariupol, Lugansk, Simferopol and Krasnoyarsk will soon go to relatives in Ukraine, and some of them have already met with their loved ones. “Taking into account today’s group, with our participation, a total of 546 children were returned to Russia - from Syria, Iraq, Pakistan and Turkey,” the press service of the Children’S Ombudsman emphasized.
