“This time we managed to agree with the Kurdish side on the return of 32 children aged from five to 17 years to relatives in Russia.

These are 12 girls and 20 boys,” the statement said.

It is noted that the children will undergo a medical examination at a federal clinic and social rehabilitation in one of the Moscow centers and then meet their relatives, with whom they will live under guardianship.

“Taking into account today’s group, with our participation, a total of 546 children were returned to Russia - from Syria, Iraq, Pakistan and Turkey,” the press service of the Children’s Ombudsman emphasized.

In February it was reported that eleven children from the Zaporozhye region, Mariupol, Lugansk, Simferopol and Krasnoyarsk will soon go to relatives in Ukraine, and some of them have already met with their loved ones.
