Police in Chonburi province in Thailand arrested a Russian at the request of the Russian Central National Bureau of Interpol. Mikhail Tolokonnikov is wanted by Interpol on a “red notice”, which provides for arrest and deportation to Russia.
He is currently in the Pattaya police department, after which he will be deported to Russia and appear in court. Earlier, a Canadian citizen was arrested in the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai after he opened the door of a commercial plane and deployed the evacuation slide before takeoff.
