On May 5, Zhou Weihong, Agricultural Consul of the Agriculture Department of the Royal Thai Consulate General in Guangzhou, introduced different varieties of Thai durian to the public. The event was held both offline and online, and the event also launched Thai costume displays, Thai style song and dance performances and other programs.
According to data from Thailand's Ministry of Commerce, in 2022, China was Thailand's largest export market for durian, accounting for 96% of total exports. Thailand is applying for more fruit varieties to export to China.
