The "Thailand Love You - Thailand Fruit Festival 2023" event jointly organized by the Commercial Office of the Royal Thai Consulate General in Nanning, the Agriculture Department of the Royal Thai Consulate General in Guangzhou and related enterprises kicked off in Nanning, Guangxi. The organizers carefully introduced dozens of high-quality fruits of Thai origin, such as durian, mangosteen, longan, rambutan, lotus fog, jackfruit, coconut green, and dragon palace fruit, to attract the public to buy.

Nowadays, it is the season of picking and selling durians in Thailand. Thailand is the country that exports the most fresh durian in the world. According to data from Thailand's Ministry of Commerce, in 2022, China was Thailand's largest export market for durian, accounting for 96% of total exports.

At the scene of this event, durian seized the "C position". Durian tasting activities are very popular, and different varieties of durian, such as Golden Pillow, Qingni, Ganyao, Tomani, HVACZAN, and Jialun, make durian lovers pick.

The event was held both offline and online, and the event also launched Thai costume displays, Thai style song and dance performances and other programs. Thailand attaches great importance to the quality of fruits, including every link of safe production, and strictly follows the relevant standards. In recent years, China has strong demand for imports of consumer goods, especially agricultural products, from ASEAN countries, and China is an important fruit export market for Thailand. As one of the main channels for the import and export of China-ASEAN fruits, Guangxi Friendship Pass has become the largest durian import port in China.

Wanda Ratanapani said that in recent years, the Thai Ministry of Commerce has held Thai fruit promotion and other activities in Guangxi every year, aiming to provide more opportunities for local people to understand Thailand, further promote economic cooperation and trade between Thailand and Guangxi, and expand the export of high-quality Thai fruits.
