U.S. electric car maker Tesla is recalling nearly 2.2 million vehicles in the country.

The reason for this recall is that the font size of the brake, parking and anti-lock brake warning lights on the vehicle dashboard is smaller than required by federal safety standards. This can make important safety information difficult to detect by drivers, increasing the risk of a collision. Tesla confirmed three warranty claims that may be related to the issue, but there were no reports of crashes or injuries. In December 2023, NHTSA stated that Tesla would recall more than 2.03 million electric vehicles due to safety hazards in the autonomous driving system.
