New episode in Turkey of the standoff between the Constitutional Court and President Erdogan. High court annuls 37 provisions of a symbolic text signed by Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The Court was seized by the opposition, which welcomes this decision. “Mr Erdogan will consider them first as traitors, then as terrorists,” predicts Mustafa Yeneroglu, deputy of the Deva party, formerly close to the head of state. The president castigated some of his recent decisions and called for reform of the highest court.
