A small plane crashed in western Switzerland on Saturday morning. The pilot and two passengers were killed.

The Swiss Safety Investigation Board began investigations into the cause of the accident, which remained unknown for the time being. The crash happened near the municipality of Les Ponts-de-Martel, as the police of the canton of Neuchâtel announced. It was a small aircraft, it was said by the emergency services, and located in a terrain that is difficult to access. It is not yet known what caused the crash.
