Survey shows: The median monthly income of Hong Kong’s “highly qualified” talents arriving in Hong Kong is about HK$50,000. About 10% of talents have a monthly employment income of NT$200,000 or more.

54% of the applicants are employed, mainly in industries such as financial services. It is estimated that the "talented" program can bring an annual direct economic contribution of about 34 billion yuan to Hong Kong, equivalent to about 1.2% of GDP.
