A female store manager in Norrbotten collected over SEK 300,000 from the store's daily checkouts. For just over ten months, starting in the summer of 2020, the woman embezzled the store.
She accounted for the daily cash on paper, but did not physically send in the cash on time. Instead, she took some of the cash – and to cover the trail, she taking money out of newer bags to replenish the older ones as she went along.
