An 18-year-old man is sentenced by Varberg District Court to seven years in prison. The man strangled the victim and stabbed him in the back with a knife.
The victim felt his intestines protrude and suffered life-threatening injuries. Several people tried to intervene, one of whom received a deep cut in his hand. He is also convicted of aggravated assault on another occasion, as well as minor drug offenses. For the stab wounds in the stomach and the cut on the hand, of the person who intervened, the 18- year-old is sentenced to seven year in prison for attempted murder.
