Spring Festival Couplets Exhibition of Cross-Strait Artists Held in Taipei. More than 90 works by 32 Taiwanese artists and 13 mainland artists participated in the exhibition.

Spring Festival couplets, commonly known as "door pairs", are one of the symbols of the Chinese Spring Festival and express people's good wishes for good luck in the new year. Emperor Meng Chang of the Later Shu Dynasty wrote "New Year's Day to welcome Yuqing, Jiajie Festival is Changchun" and placed them on both sides of the door.
