In Spain, the Supreme Court announced this Thursday the opening of an investigation for “terrorism” against former Catalan president Carles Puigdemont. In question, its alleged link with the mysterious movement called “Tsunami Democratic” which, in 2019 after the conviction of the independence leaders, had organized several demonstrations at Barcelona airport and in the city center.
Despite the public prosecutor's opinion that there was no "terrorism" in these protests, the court ultimately sided with the judge and referred to "street terrorism"
