South-West Cameroon: separatist attack in Buea leaves at least one dead. A group of separatist fighters broke out on the night of January 29 and 30, 2024.
They attacked civilians before melting into the night, not without causing casualties and material damage. The governor of the region indicates that the situation has returned to normal and that people are going about their business. The attack lasted barely 10 minutes, enough time to plunge the city, so often the victim of attacks by English-speaking separatists, into turmoil.
