The ANC is launching its electoral campaign this Saturday, February 24 for the general elections on May 29. Nelson Mandela's former party wants to show that it is still popular in South Africa, thirty years after its accession to power.

The ANC managed to fill a stadium and that is already a small success, underlines our special correspondent, Romain Chanson. The party could lose its absolute majority in the National Assembly for the first time in its history. More than 27 million registered voters are called to go to the polls to renew their Parliament.
