Hamas is studying a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, which will be implemented. The first phase of the agreement includes the release of 42 Israeli women, children and elderly people.

The second phase includes release of all detained Israeli personnel, including soldiers and officers, in exchange for release of an agreed number of Palestinian prisoners. The third part of the deal would involve a permanent ceasefire and a complete Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, Hamas sources said. The parties will return within two days to negotiate again on the specific terms of the final ceasefire plan.
