[HIGHLIGHTS] Some of the drugs the criminals planned to sell in Russia: the FSB reported the detention of members of the drug cartel with 699 kg of cocaine

In the Moscow region, citizens of Colombia and one of the European states were detained with a wholesale batch of cocaine in the amount of 699 kg. According to the agency, the task of the detainees was to receive a large cargo of drugs in Moscow, in order to then send it to European countries.

Part of the cargo was planned to be sold on the territory of Russia. The wholesale value of the seized batch on the Russian black market exceeds 2.5 billion rubles. Retail sales could bring a profit to the drug syndicate for a total of at least 6 billion Rubles.
