The Ministry of Education recently announced the registration and approval results of undergraduate majors in general colleges and universities in 2023. A total of 1,456 newly registered majors and 217 approved majors (including 160 State-controlled majors and 57 new majors outside the catalog) have been adjusted.
The majors registered, approved and adjusted this time will be included in the 2024 undergraduate enrollment plans of relevant universities. This time, 24 new majors were added: based on serving the national strategic needs, high-power semiconductor science and engineering, biological breeding technology and other majors.
