Since 2022, FSB officers have stopped the activities of eight sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRGs) in the Sverdlovsk and Tyumen regions. A total of 20 people were detained, 13 criminal cases are being investigated.

Three members of the DRG involved in the murder of the deputy head of the internal affairs department in Melitopol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Zaporozhye region have been detained. On April 27, as a result of a terrorist attack, the deputyHead of the Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Melitopolis died from his injuries.
