Shoigu: The Ukrainian Armed Forces have concentrated four brigades of marines at Krynoki for a breakthrough to Crimea. According to the minister, these formations can be called well-equipped, trained and rested.
Shoigu noted that they had to make a breakthrough in order to create a springboard for further advance and deployment of forces. Earlier, he stated that the village of Krynki in the Kherson region had been cleared of the Ukrainian Armed forces. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
