According to the minister, these formations can be called well-equipped, trained and rested. Shoigu noted that they had to make a breakthrough in order to create a springboard for further advance and deployment of forces.

Earlier, he stated that the village of Krynki in the Kherson region had been cleared of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
