Sheikh Tamim announces an increase in Qatar's investments in France to 10 billion euros. He added that investments "that are mutually beneficial to both countries" will target key sectors ranging from energy transformation, semiconductors, space, artificial intelligence, digitalization, health, hospitality and culture.
Today, Wednesday, an economic forum will be held on investment opportunities between the two countries. France is the first European investor in Qatar, having invested $9 billion in the fields of energy, aviation, infrastructure and tourism. It is also one of the five main countries receiving investments from Qatar.
