Senator Tsekov called nonsense the statement about the EU's intention to live without Russian gas. Earlier, European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson notified Ukraine that the European Union is not interested in extending the agreement on the transit of Russian gas to Europe.
The EC also promised to solve the problems of countries buying gas from Russia through Ukraine. The EU can also say that they “have learned to living without the air that blows from Russia”, Tsekkov said, according to RIA Novosti.
