The ministerial consultative meeting regarding the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip began in Riyadh on Thursday evening. The foreign ministers of Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, the UAE and Saudi Arabia will participate in the meeting, in addition to the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry did not clarify the time frame for the beginning and end of the meeting. The meeting comes in the midst of discussions sponsored by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States, to reach a deal between Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas)
