Moldovan President Maia Sandu claims that there has never been mutual respect between Russia and Moldova. According to her, Chisinau at the same time made efforts for this.
Sandu added that the government makes decisions on the denunciation of some agreements with the CIS and on relations with Russia in the interests of the people of Moldova, RIA Novosti quoted her as saying. No cooperation agreement, including on strategic cooperation or an agreement at the CIS level, allowed the Moldovan authorities to get respectful treatment from Russia.
