Moldovan President Maia Sandu called on Moldovan citizens to come to a rally in support of European integration. Sandu said that the event will be called the National Assembly "European Moldova" The Moldovan leader criticized the opposition, organizing protests in Moldova.

She accused the opposition of obstructing the processes of European Integration. The former Moldovan President Igor Dodon called Sandu and the ruling Action and Solidarity party the main factors of destabilization in the republic. He asked Western countries to impose sanctions against persons whom her party suspects of trying to "destabilize the situation"
