Sandu said this during an address to the population of Moldova. Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

"It's time to show that we are the people in control of our home, our country," she said.

According to her, the republic is watched by "the whole world, the whole of Europe."

Sandu said that the event will be called the National Assembly "European Moldova", it will be held in the center of Chisinau.

In addition, the Moldovan leader criticized the opposition, organizing protests in Moldova. She accused the opposition of obstructing the processes of European integration.

Earlier, Sandu asked Western countries to impose sanctions against persons whom her party suspects of trying to "destabilize the situation" in the republic.

At the same time, former Moldovan President Igor Dodon called Maia Sandu and the ruling Action and Solidarity party the main factors of destabilization in Moldova.
