Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S24 Ultra and Z Fold5 with a car accident detection feature. Android systems specialist Michel Rahman found in the systems of these devices indicators of the feature.
It is not yet known whether this feature will work with the “Galaxy S24+” phones, which Samsung also recently announced. Such a feature works in the ‘Pixel’ phones launched by Google in the past three years, and in some modern iPhones as well. The application associated with this feature contacts emergency and ambulance services to save the user's life.
