Ryabkov spoke about episodic contacts between high-ranking officials of Russia and the United States. He said this in response to a request to comment on data on a telephone conversation between US Presidential Adviser Jake Sullivan and Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov that took place in January.
According to him, he is not ready to disclose the content of such contacts, since this is not in the rules of diplomatic communication. Ryabkov noted that Ukraine “is present as a plot.”
