He said this in response to a request to comment on data on a telephone conversation between US Presidential Adviser Jake Sullivan and Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov that took place in January.

“Occasionally there are telephone conversations, and high-ranking officials from both sides exchange assessments,” Interfax quotes Ryabkov.

According to him, he is not ready to disclose the content of such contacts, since this is not in the rules of diplomatic communication.

At the same time, Ryabkov noted that Ukraine “is present as a plot.”

He added that Moscow’s signal is “clear and obvious”: escalation, which is now at the center of the American course, is very dangerous.

“We have conveyed this signal to them and will convey it through all available channels,” said the deputy foreign minister.

Earlier, Ryabkov said that the Russian side warns the United States against returning tactical nuclear weapons to Britain.
